DIY Sweetheart Nails

Don’t have time to go get a manicure before Valentine’s Day?  Me neither, luckily I was able to come up with my own design just in time for tomorrow.  If you want the look-- just follow my short DIY steps to achieve your perfect sweetheart nails.

 What will you need?
Red nail polish
White nail polish
and
A safety pin

DIY Steps

Step 1 Polish your nails with the red polish and let them dry.

Step 2 Take the white polish and add two small dots *like so* to create the top of your soon to be heart.

Step 3 Next, open the safety pin and with the point end trace a heart using the two dots of white polish.

Step 4 Fill in the heart shape with white polish.

This is what your nails should look like once you're done.

Now you have your very own Sweetheart Nails just in time for Valentine’s Day.

How to treat DANDRUFF

No one likes having an itchy flaky scalp-- you know, DANDRUFF!!!  It can be so irritating and most certainly embarrassing when those unsightly traces of flakes are found sprinkled all over your shoulders.

Where does dandruff come from?  Well, usually it’s the result of having a dry scalp-- and is commonly caused by a fungus.  Yup! That’s right-- FUNGUS!  However, don’t fear the fungus because you’re in luck.  Most mild cases can be treated with good old fashion LISTERINE.

I know what you’re thinking--“Listerine”?? Yes!!

How does it work??

It’s simple-- Listerine ingredients have anti-fungal properties that will eliminate dandruff and free you from an itchy flaky scalp.

So if you want to rid yourself of dandruff-- purchase a bottle of Listerine.  However, keep in mind that it HAS to be the *GOLD* colored Listerine.

Listerine Scalp Treatment

  • Pour Listerine into a little spray bottle.
  • Part the hair into small sections and spray onto your scalp.
  • Once you’ve covered your entire scalp—massage your head to help stimulate your hair follicles.
  • Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes then shampoo and condition your hair.
